Wax can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on what you are skating and what your ability is. Used wisely and in moderation, it will make that sticky rail or ledge become a great skate spot, whether in a skatepark or out street skating. Used to excess it will just be way too slippy for all but complete beginners who feel they need it exceptionally slippy to grind, which is not really the case, you just need more speed, balance and skill and above all practise !
