Viewing 9 items in UFS Frames | Aggressive skate frames - The chassis of the skate, known as the frame, connects to the base of the skate using 2 x 6mm allen key bolts. Skaters grind or slide on the frames and soulplates, which are specially made to withstand this and are usually replaceable.
There are various types of frame design, however since early in the year 2000 all but the very cheapest aggressive skates and frames have standardised on the fitting. The Universal Frame System (UFS) was introduced by frame manufacturers to allow skaters to easily customize their skates or keep them rolling for longer by replacing the worn out parts. |
