Aggressive Skate ProductsAggressive Skate Products
Aggressive inline skating is an extreme sport carried out on specially designed inline skates built to withstand the tricks and stunts performed by Rollerbladers. The sport involves a huge variety of grinds, Spins, Airs, tricks, slides and other Stunt orientated skating manoeuvres. Skaters often refer to the activity as rollerblading, blading or freestyle rolling or aggressive skating. The sport has specific disciplines such as vert, park, and street skating, depending on the choice of obstacles skated.
Ukskate Has it's own skatepark suitable for Rollerbladers, aggressive skaters, Freestyle Rollers or skaters, whatever you want to call it.
Most of our staff are skaters, so you can be sure that if you need to speak to someone who knows about your sport, you'll find a friendly Knowledgable individual on the other end of the phone or email. The Photo set pictured was created by Adam Kola for a Ukskate Rollerblading Calendar.
ClothingClothing

Ukskate has it's own skate brand clothing range with designs made by well known Rollerbladers such as Tim Darker and Andrew Tunney. These are usually around half the price of most skate clothes, due to us not having to purchase from Middlemen or distributors and because we don't need to add such a high markup on such products as they promote our own skate company.

Protective GearProtective Gear
Skating is a dangerous sport, whether you're a Rollerblader, Scooter rider or a skateboarder, chances are, you will get hurt at times doing your sport ! The best way to minimize injuries and be able to continue to enjoy your sport for as long as you'd like, is to wear some Protective Padding. Ukskate stock Knee Pads, Knee Gaskets, Elbow Pads, Elbow Gasgets, Shin Pads, Wrist Guards and Helmets. Most skateparks have a compulsory Helmet rule and some even have a compulsory Pads rule too ! Others advise protective Wear even if not compulsory. If you choose not to wear any skate Protection at all, then It's highly likely that you WILL get injured more severely in any accident or fall than if you'd chosen to wear it.

Skateboarding involves riding on and performing tricks with a skateboard. Those who skateboard are often called skateboarders, Skaters, Boarders or woodpushers, though the latter is more often used as a derogatory term. Skateboards can be used for recreational activity, as form of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding is seen as an extreme sport which has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years since the 1970s. Old school skaters Like Rodney Mullen, Alan "Ollie" Gelfan, George Orton and Tony Alva have all contributed to the development of skateboarding as you may know it today. Tony Hawk's legendary computer games have more recently launched Skateboarding into a huge sport with over 18 million skateboarders worldwide ! It appeals to skaters from all walks of life and all ages and races. With good quality basic setups from just ?30, it's also an affordable sport to get into as a beginner, without going to toyshops and buying poor quality cheap boards which are more likely to put youngsters off the sport than get them into it.
